| The cast
also included Jackie's stunt team, and featured singing
performances, martial arts demonstrations, a fashion show
as well as a live auction of some of Jackie's personal belongings.
Vertex
was there, and as prime contractor for production services
on the event, we supplied all audio, lighting and staging
equipment for the show. The show was held in Skydome's
Skytent format, with seating available for an audience
of approximately 14,000. The fairly demanding audio needs
of the show were handled by Vertex's newest rig, which
consisted of Soundcraft Series 5 consoles, EAW KF760/761
line array speaker systems, along with KF-850's and SB-1000's.
The on-stage gear included EAW SM-400 wedges, Shure U4
series wireless mics, and EAW JF-80 front fill cabinets.
The
lighting rig boasted a large complement of conventional
Pars, along with Par ACL's, 2K Fresnals, D'Artanigan HMI
2500 profile spots, Varilite 2000 Series wash and spot
automated lights, High End Technobeam and Studiocolor
automated lights. Control was handled by High End Hog
controllers. The staging included generous use of vertical
trussing and custom fabric panels, and also featured both
snow machines as well as air driven confetti cannons.
Our custom made backlit steps were also used to great
effect.
