During the recent Ontario provincial election campaign, Vertex was on the road providing audio and lighting production services to the Ontario Liberal Party, in association with Audio/Visual specialists, Network Productions, of Markham, Ontario.

Team leader David Bailey made extensive use of Vertex equipment and personnel, both for small roving teams doing "whistle stop" production support at venues all over Ontario, as well as for regional gatherings for substantially larger audiences.

The grueling 6-week campaign schedule wound up with a major election night event held at the Chateau Laurier hotel in Ottawa, attended by Premier McGuinty and a host of other provincial and federal Liberal supporters. Throughout the entire campaign, Vertex worked hard to keep pace with the very intense event schedule, and to

successfully accommodate the Liberal's requirements for audio and lighting support at the many and varied events that the campaign imposed on the production team.

After the conclusion of the final post-election event in Toronto, both David Bailey and the Liberal campaign management were very positive in their evaluation of Vertex's involvement with the campaign, and we are quite sure Vertex and The Ontario Liberal Party will be working together again in the near future.
